GearWatch is an equipment fleet management system for unit maintenance tracking, costing, and income tracking. This software tool provides for excellent tracking of equipment for maintenance, warranties, location, and availability status.

GearWatch utilizes the latest, most efficient technologies from the intuitive Windows user interface to the Microsoft SQL Server relational database. The design centers on equipment management and the needs of operational equipment maintenance shops rather than accounting and operations. However, with Profitool's business history focused on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, the need to integrate with accounting, job cost, and financial management software was not forgotten. Functionality is designed into the this equipment management system to allow for the automated transfer of data between an ERP package and GearWatch.

Technology choices for GearWatch were made with the intent to make the product intuitive to use and forgiving in its operation. Those using GearWatch are expected to be individuals who are responsible for the productivity of the equipment and would likely be working in a maintenance facility or equipment yard environment. For these reasons, our equipment management system was designed to accommodate people with a wide range of computer experience and skills.

- Software Requirements:
Windows 2000 Server w/Service Pack (SP) or later or Windows 2003 Server (Standard Edition); Windows SQL Server 2000 or Windows SQL Server 2005 (Standard Edition).
- Hardware Requirements:
Processor - Dual Core Intel - 2.00 GHz, 1GB Memory, and at least 100GB of hard drive space.
